Getting paid
Checkout, card payments, invoices, refunds, GST and BAS.
- Set up card paymentsConnect your own Stripe account in Settings → Card payments. Money goes straight to your bank; the card fee is Stripe's, not ours.
- GST on your invoices, and your BASTurn GST on in Business details → Tax Settings and add your ABN. Your BAS figures are under Reports & BAS.
- Put your logo and wording on invoicesUpload a logo in Business details → Branding; set your footer and payment terms under Invoicing. Colour is set on the web portal.
- Send an invoice and what the client seesSend the client a link to their invoice. They can pay by card, PayID or bank transfer, and it works for 60 days.
- Take the money before the groomTap Take payment on a booking that hasn't happened yet. It gets paid without being finished — it still sits on your day.
- Refund a payment, or void an invoiceRefund card payments from the invoice's More menu. Stripe keeps its fee, so a refund costs you more than it sends back.
- Take payment and finish a jobOpen the booking, tap Checkout, add anything extra, then tap Take to record how they paid.
- Take a card on your iPhoneTap to Pay on iPhone takes a contactless card against the top of your phone — no reader, no extra hardware.
