Take payment and finish a job

Open the booking and tap Checkout. The services already on the booking are listed with the total at the top.

   Check the lines. Tap one to change its price or quantity; tap the × to take it off.

   "Add a service or item" adds anything extra — a nail trim, a bottle of shampoo. It asks which dog.

   "Add discount" takes money off the total.

   Tap Take, then pick how they paid — Cash, Card, PayID, or Tap to Pay on an iPhone.

   Confirm. The booking is done and the invoice is written.

If you're GST registered, the GST inside the total is shown on its own line as you go.

The other two buttons

Send invoice sends the client a link to pay instead of taking money now. "Mark done, invoice later" finishes the job and leaves it unpaid — the invoice sits under Outstanding in your invoice list until it's paid.

Finishing early

Checkout becomes the main button on a booking 25 minutes before its start time, so you can settle up while the dog's still on the trailer rather than after you've driven off.
