Connecting Google Calendar
Two switches — one brings your own events into the schedule, the other pushes your bookings out to a separate "Clippers Base" calendar.
Tap Connect Google Calendar, sign in with Google, and you'll come back to two switches.
Show my Google Calendar events in Clippers Base
On to start with. Your own events appear on the schedule so you can see them next to your grooms.
Only your main Google calendar comes across, from a month ago to a year ahead, and it refreshes every 5 minutes.
Push my Clippers Base bookings to Google Calendar
Off to start with. Turn it on and your bookings appear in Google — in their own calendar called Clippers Base, never your personal one.
Clippers Base is the record. Change one of its bookings inside Google and we put it back the way it was.
Switch it off again and you're asked whether to remove the events we've already put in Google, or keep them.
Disconnecting
Disconnect is at the bottom of the same screen. If the connection breaks on its own — Google access expiring, say — you'll get a notification about it rather than finding out from an empty schedule.
