What the Today screen shows you
It's the one screen for your whole day — who's next, what to do about them, and what still needs you.
The Today screen opens on whoever's up next — their dog, the time, and a "Leave by" line once we've worked out the drive. That line only shows once we actually know the drive time; we never guess one.
Tap "Today brief" at the top for the morning read-out: a warm headline, "Worth a look" facts (who hasn't confirmed, money to chase, anything tight on the drive), and notes on today's dogs pulled from their history.
When it's time to go, tap "Start" — the card switches to the live job with a timer. One button then takes you through to wrapping it up: it reads "Checkout" until the job's paid for, and "Finish" once it already is.
A card sometimes suggests something below the next booking — a re-book, gear due a service, a gap in your day. That's Clippers Base reading your day, not a person; swipe past it or choose "Don't show again" if it's not useful.
At day's end the screen shows your wrap-up.
A note under a dog's name in soft amber, like "Anxious near face — soft brush only", is either one you saved on the pet's profile or something Clippers Base spotted worth flagging before that job.
